Ingredients
  1. 1/2 cup snipped dried apricots
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 2 T. butter
  4. 1 egg, beaten
  5. 1/4 cup water
  6. 1/2 cup orange juice
  7. 2 cups flour
  8. 2 t. baking powder
  9. 1/4 tsp. salt
  10. 1/2 cup walnuts
Instructions
  1. Soak apricots in warm water until soft.
  2. Cream butter and sugar.
  3. Stir in egg, water and juice.
  4. Add apricots.
  5. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nuts.
  6. Mix all (do not over mix).
  7. Put in quick-bread pan.
  8. Let stand for 20 minutes.
  9. Bake 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
