Chewy, Butterless Chocolate Brownies

  1. 2 eggs
  2. 1 C of powdered sugar
  3. 1 tsp of vanilla
  4. 2 oz of unsweetened chocolate (melted)
  5. 1/2 C flour
  6. 1 C chopped pecans
  1. Beat eggs until light.
  2. Beat in sugar, vanilla, and melted chocolate.
  3. By hand, stir in the flour and 3/4 C of the pecans.
  4. Spread in a greased 8 inch square pan.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining nuts over the batter, lightly pressing them in.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Cut into bars while warm and sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with a chocolate frosting if desired.
