RECare

RECare is a community-driven program that allows members to support families struggling with energy costs. Through voluntary contributions, members can donate monthly or make a one-time gift to help provide financial assistance for essential energy services. All donations stay local, ensuring the funds benefit those within the community. The program is administered with fairness and transparency, offering aid to those who need it most. By participating in RECare, you’re not just paying it forward—you’re strengthening the bonds of your community.

RECare

RECare is a voluntary energy assistance program that offers funds to local families who need assistance with their electric bills. Your contribution can help one of these local families!

You may make a one-time contribution or a monthly pledge. Monthly pledges can be an amount you choose each month, a fixed amount, or you may have your bill rounded up to the nearest dollar to have the difference donated. Any contribution will help others and it’s easy to give! Simply write your contribution on your payment stub and include it with your payment or contact us if you would like to have contributions set up as part of your monthly bill. The program is administered by the Iowa Community Action Program, and recipients must meet their guidelines.
